WE ARE
AMBASSADORS.

You might say that furniture and design are part of MZA founder Mitch Zerg’s DNA. His career began as a child, hanging out in his grandfather’s furniture store in Los Angeles. Like father, like son, as they say, Mitch’s dad also started a furniture store, which he eventually turned into a design firm. After working briefly for his father, Mitch caught the family bug and, in 1979, got a job as a salesperson at Cal-Mode—a stylish residential furniture manufacturer popular in Southern California. It won't come as a surprise to you that Mitch’s mother ran the Cal-Mode showroom (more DNA!). Mitch’s passion for this work grew, and he decided to follow in his family’s entrepreneurial footsteps. MZA was born in 1983 with the vision of bringing the comfort and panache of residential furniture and design to the hospitality market, repping the kinds of family-owned and operated companies that gave him his start.

Since that time, Mitch has grown MZA (and that passion) into a force to be embraced, serving clients and manufactures of all sizes and expanding into just about any project that needs furniture and fixtures.
